Frequently asked questions

  • Is there a tour guide on board?

No, there is no tour guide on board. We are a sailing restaurant / café and have opted for a private setting in a relaxed atmosphere. This allows you to optimally enjoy the characteristic environment Amsterdam offers, without being disturbed.

  • Do we need to bring printed tickets?

No, it is not necessary to print your ticket / reservation email. Your name is on the guest list. If it is unexpectedly necessary to see a confirmation from you, a digital confirmation is also suitable.

  • I have not received my tickets by email, what now?

Our emails are always sent automatically. It is possible that our email has ended up in your spam / junk mailbox. No email in your spam / junk mailbox? Or did you accidentally enter an incorrect email address? Please let us know by e-mail.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation is possible up to 2 days before your reserved cruise, before 3 P.M. If you cancel within the specified time frame, you will receive your paid amount back in full.

  • Are there pre-assigned seats?

Yes, our hostess / host will direct you to your table upon arrival, reserved for you and your group. The entire on board table layout is made depending on the total number of people present, so there is no free seating possibility.

  • Do we get a private table?

Yes, we reserve a private table for you based on the number of tickets purchased. The minimum number of people at a table is 2, the maximum number of people is 8.

  • Is it possible to reserve a specific table?

No, this is not possible. The table layout on board depends on the participating group sizes, so we cannot work with a fixed table layout as it can be different every time.

  • Is the dinner prepared fresh or is it pre-made and kept warm?

During the cruise you can enjoy a 3-course à la carte dinner. You can decide upon the menu choices on board after which it is freshly prepared in the canal side restaurant. Each course will be served out to you directly from the kitchen onto the boat. It is also possible to make use of the wine arrangement, where you will be served a suitable wine with each course.

  • How do I get there?

If you wish to come by car, it is best to park at the Stopera parking garage (Waterlooplein 28, Amsterdam). It is about a 6-minute walk from the parking garage to Zwanenburgwal. When traveling by public transport, travel to the ‘Waterlooplein’ stop with metro line 51, 53 or 54 or tram line 14. It's about a 6 minute walk from the ‘Waterlooplein’ stop to Zwanenburgwal.
